That bomb hit on the Fox recon unit is wild. That's a ~6ton vehicle getting hit by 2 2000lb bombs. That is to say, about 2 tons of bomb on a 6 ton vehicle.

Really close game, very well played by both players. The start looked to be setting up Icarus for another win but Kommyhuct really pushed back super hard. Looking forward to game 3 and seeing what the players bring to the table. Both players definitely not caring much for his helicopers though lol, Icarus moreso but damn I feel sorry for those pilots. Also I really like Kommyhuct's use of the M109, he didn't over invest in Arty but he used it to get some pretty valuable kills with it. Keeping it relatively close and next to a leader for the better dispersion and veterancy was also a really good strat.

Actually, PRO-COMMYHUCT's name's ending would be a UNIST if You interpret the characters by russian alphabet - as it seems is intended. So that's PRO-COMMUNIST ;) . I had to look twice at the text to understand literal English reading (eg. what You say)!

Atleast the French were part of the Blitzkrieg this time instead of on the receiving end. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the British, that was brutally efficient. Really well played by Icarus, I thought maybe Kommyhuct could try some more shenanigans in the backlines but unfortunately not enough units there and he couldn't divert reinforcements from the frontline. Also always happy to see the F104's in action, they're basically giant darts with missiles and guns.

Since this was short, but still definitely worth a watch, Game 2 will be out later today! :)

Another enjoyable video showing this game. Some good tactics used there. You can mount a half squad into a Bren carrier if you want but you used the vehicles as mobile mgs which is good too.

It's a good game. But honestly, the scale is just to big for the pace. Should be turned based or something. You simply can't focus on all 3 or 4 or 5 fronts you're fighting on at once. And constantly lose vehicles and men because of it.

Were there no T-72 equipped divisions meant to breakthrough at Fulda?

nice use of recon units 5:00. I also have very good optic infantry recon with tow2 sections in buildings. works like a charm.

How do you give command to individual unit when you select multiple units?

It is hard due to spacing but one thing you could do with the screens is have it further back, which needs to be bigger.. and have lightings light the screen behind your face. That way you can get good chroma key. To reduce amount of screen and lighting, you can crop in or use more telescoping lens (if you can adjust your cam) to crop more of needless space with screen (also reduces range of chroma hue which can get messy if you dont have enough lights)

I wonder if there are games the military uses for officers to practice certain situations? We played a game the army was making in 2015 for infantry. You had a weapon that had a control pad on it so you could move forward and backwards and you knelt, went prone, or changed direction by your actual movement. It had like 15 FPS and opposition murdered us in like 5 seconds. They gave us one afternoon with it and that was it.

Hey Vulcan, do you know if these campaigns can be played co-op, either with multiple players on the same side microing units together in the same battle, or with players on opposing sides?

Looks like you're attacking into a line formation sometimes. Is that right? What's the shortcut?

The rocket artillery is probably more deadly due to the artillery spread changes where spread scales over range

Valley of Kings be like

This game needs a serious AI rework. Basically all that the AI does is push more and more units down a narrow road. Even a ruSSian general would know there are several others. In all seriousness, the soviets were good at flanking and encircling manoeuvres, so I don't see why they just parade down a single road in this game.
